Travelers Samantha & Graham are finding a way

We were married in 2006. At the time, we thought we had it all figured out. After all, we were in our mid-twenties and naturally assumed we had acquired all the knowledge and experience we would ever need to make our lives everything we had ever dreamed. We were smart. We were ready. We were set. And then, we nearly went mad.

Everything we’d been told to do, we did. The education. The job. The house. And that’s when we realized; everything we had been told to want, we just didn’t want. We wanted something else, something different. We started travelling. We began to see and experience other cultures and ways of life. We opened ourselves up to things that frightened us and intrigued us. And we fell in love harder and faster than we ever thought we could. 

This project is our love letter to travel. Travel is what saved our relationship and our collective sanity. It’s what we live for. And in a world constantly asking us to fit into a predestined ’round hole,’ we are proudly proclaiming our status as ‘square pegs.’ We are done trying to squeeze ourselves into places where we will never fit. Instead, we’re looking for the places that fit us.
